Bleak Healing

Professor Tatum and her assistant Melody conduct their next set of trials with the hope of developing a cure to a chronic illness spreading through the world. To their dismay, the trial was a failure. Melody tries to keep optimistic however Professor Tatum struggles to compose herself through a coughing fit, hiding from her subordinate that she herself is infected with the illness.

As she sends Melody home, Professor Tatum continues to work on the cure alone. She unveils a hidden piece of biological material; the fangs of an unknown predator. Professor Tatum is well aware that its effects may cause the cure’s effects on the human body to become uncontrollable, but she’s running out of time and options.

Melody returns to the lab the next day, finding the whole place desecrated. She uncovers the truth in Professor Tatum’s secret trial, learning that the professor had injected herself with the new cure in a desperate attempt to save herself. What emerges in the lab is a monstrous creature that was once Professor Tatum, starved and depraved of sexual stimulation, seeing her former subordinate as nothing more than a source of satisfaction.
